Safety, above all else, guides Inlet Energy. Our daily goal is for all employees to return home at the end of the day in the same condition they arrived. Whether working in the field or in the office, a culture of safety requires everyone to function as one cohesive team to ensure that the best safety practices are established and universally adhered to. To continuously improve the safety of our companies and uphold our commitment to our employees, customers and the environment, several programs and policies have been put in place:

We track and report all our operations against industry safety standards, setting ambitious goals to out-perform the industry benchmarks for lost time incidents and reportable incidents. We aggregate Near Miss and Hazard Recognition reports on a weekly basis and share them with all employees. Our Near Miss program promotes and rewards a culture of proactive hazard recognition – one way we keep each other safe.
Stop Work Authority
All employees have the authority to stop work at any time if something is deemed by them to be unsafe. We rely on each other to have the courage and personal agency to speak up and keep the whole team out of harm’s way.
At Inlet Energy, we educate our people so the lessons they learn at work they also take home. In the unfortunate event of an incident, we conduct a root cause analysis, implement corrective actions and share lessons learned. The focus on safety and integrity is how we make good on the Saltchuk vision of creating a workplace where we would all be proud for our children to work.
